A U.S. appeal court on last-day ordered Google to remove anti-Islamic film from its Youtube . com website that had stimulated protests all over the Muslim world.
By the 2-1 vote, a board of the 9th U.S. Court of Appeals on Wednesday refused Google’s declaration that the Remove anti-Islamic film “Innocence of Muslims,” came to a prior to restraining of speech that violated the U.S. Constitution.
In accordance with a Reuters report, the complaintant, Cindy Lee Garcia, had objected to the film just after learning that it integrated a clip she had made for a distinct movie.
Cris Armenta, a lawyer for Garcia, mentioned she is happy with the decision.
“Ordering YouTube and Google to take down the film was the right action to take,” Armenta explained in an email. “The propaganda film varies so drastically from everything that Ms. Garcia could have dreamed when the director told her that she was getting cast in the innocent adventure film.”
